Ozone is widely used as a deodoriser and disinfectant in rest homes and nursing homes and is a very effective quick method to sterilise and deodorise a facilty.

Ozone used in retirement homes, aged care facilities, resthomes by Odarid NZ Ltd

Alot of the problems we see in resthome facilites are hard to control due to the inability of the facility to remove the guests. Therefore the time slots for cleaning and deodorising are limited and large amounts of ozone are not safe or practical.

The solution is to provide small amounts of ozone on a regular bases (known as shock treatment) Ozone can  be used to shock treat guests rooms to reduce body odour, urine odours, stale air, mustiness, mould and mildew. Very often the rooms inhabitants are not keen on windows being left open so ozone is an ideal method to deodorise quickly and effectively without the need for perfumes and masking agents

Ozone is safe to use for shock treatments daily when the guests are removed for bathing, entertainment times and so on. The most common method is to ozone a room using our one of our range of ozone machines for 15 minutes daily to control body odour and urine/faeces odours

Ozone can also be used in the laundry areas to deodorise bedding and blankets

For fresher sheets and clothing use ozone  and see the difference
